Game Journal Day 5

 1. How To Play The Long Dark

       To play The Long Dark you will need to know the basic rules of survival in the game. My survival tips are to survive you must find somewhere to camp out where you can keep warm and lots of resources are around in order to keep your fire going. If you have a hunting rifle use this for food and hunt deer as it is a good source of food in the game. For water make sure to melt snow and then boil that water so it is not contaminated with bacteria when you drink it.

1.How Day Do You Have To Complete The Challenge?
In the game you have 7 days to reach you destination and fire the pistol if you do not complete you will fail and have to start over.

2. What Did You Do Today?
Today I made it through the carters dam building and followed the ice river till i found a cave. I have made it deep into the cave but have not completely found where it leads to yet.

Task 1

To make a fishing tackle you will first need to make a fishing hook this takes one scrap piece of metal. Then you will have to kill an animal for its guts, once you have its guts you will need to keep them dry for five days before you are able to craft the fishing line.

1.What is the challenge?
Our challenge today in The Long Dark is to survive.


2.What did you do today?
Today i continued on my journey to find timber wolf mountain. I have found a old water plant and am searching for supplies to continue on my journey with. I came in contact with a group of wolves today and used a flare and a meat decoy in order to survive my encounter.   


3.What is the charcoal for?
In the game you can get charcoal from old fires this can then be used to plot you location on a maybe to find exactly where you are on the map.


4.What survival tip do you have?

1. What is the challenge?
For are challenge we have to locate a flare gun on top of timber wolf mountain to call for help.

2.What did you do today?
Today in The Long Dark i ventured out my cabin and off into the woods i came across a set of train tracks and decided to follow them. I have not yet found where they lead to. I found out that to save the game you must sleep but be careful you can die in your sleep.I have found that each time you spawn it is always a different variation of items.  

3.What do the different keys do for you?
 My movement settings are set through WASD, WS to move forward and backwards ,AD to move left or right. Shift to run and Ctrl to crouch .

1. What Have I Been Doing On Animate CC?

• On Animate I Have been making these small movies/scenes and posting them onto my blog. 
• I have been following this very clear and easy to use tutorial that describes how to use Animate CC.
•  These scenes i have been making I find are fairly easy and can finish them usually in a couple days.
• These scenes i find are cool because you have to make them piece by piece and frame by frame.

2. Five Tips&Tricks I Have Learned On Animate CC

• Layer Overlapping
•  In-bedding sound
• Gradient creation  
•  How to make a button
•  Action Manager 

3. How To Embed A SWF File Onto Your Blog

 To embed a SWF file onto your blog you will first have to upload the SWF file to your Dropbox account. Once you have uploaded your SWF file to your Dropbox account you will have to create a share link for  your file. You can do that by clicking on share file in Dropbox. Once you have created a link for your file you will then have to use this code to put your file into your blog.

you will then have to replace the dl.dropbox link that is already there if your own link make sure that you change the https to http on your link once you have done that then it is time to replace the www. to dl. on your link. The final step is to get rid of anything that comes after SWF in your link.
